Senior Transformation Leadership, for as Long as the Change Takes.

I'm Deidra Colvin. Companies bring me in as a fractional or interim strategy and transformation executive when AI or another major change is coming and no one on the team owns it full-time. We start with a short readiness assessment. Then I lead the work alongside your team, in the role and for the time your company needs.

For CEOs, owners, boards, and private equity operating partners.

Common Questions

What Does a Fractional Strategy and Transformation Executive Do?

I lead strategy and transformation work as part of your executive team, part-time, for a defined period. That usually means aligning leaders on priorities, deciding where AI fits, redesigning roles and how work gets done, and carrying the change through to adoption. Some companies call this role a fractional Chief Transformation Officer.

What's the Difference Between Fractional and Interim?

Fractional is part-time, typically one to four days a week, alongside your existing leaders. Interim is full-time for a defined period, usually when a seat is open or a major change needs one accountable owner.

Do We Have to Start with the Load Line™ Assessment?

It's the usual starting point, because it shows where to focus and how fast you can move. If you already have a clear picture, we can start directly with a fractional or interim engagement.

Who Do You Work With?

CEOs, owners, executive teams, boards, and private equity operating partners, usually at companies with $20 million or more in revenue, across industries.

How Is This Different from Hiring a Chief Transformation Officer?

Much of a transformation seat's value comes in the first two or three years, while the business is being redesigned. A fractional or interim executive gives you that leadership for as long as the change takes, without adding a permanent seat to the C-suite.
