Mission, Vision & Worldview
To help people and organizations increase their agency, relevance, and capacity by learning to think, work, and lead in purposeful partnership with AI.
For humans to become more capable because AI exists — not merely less vulnerable to it.
Few talk about what AI requires humans to become. I help leaders and professionals become intellectual partners with AI so they can create more value, exercise better judgment, and thrive indefinitely in an AI-shaped world.
I believe we can preserve and expand human agency by building effective intellectual partnerships with AI — not because AI replaces judgment, but because it gives judgment more leverage.
The real human/AI question is not replacement, it’s agency.
Deidra Colvin, FounderPurposeful Work
A foundational human and moral value, human agency represents the capacity of individuals to act independently, make their own free choices, and exert control over their lives and environment. Whole Enterprise™ believes people should participate in shaping an AI-enabled future rather than passively accepting one. Technology should extend human possibility without displacing human responsibility for purpose, judgment, and consequence. People are ultimately responsible for purpose, decisions, and consequences.
Transformation starts with better questions. Curiosity enables leaders to see beyond tool adoption, challenge inherited assumptions, and discover work that was not previously possible. At Whole Enterprise™, we ask useful questions and test our assumptions.
AI should elevate human capability without diminishing human dignity. Transformation must account for how people experience change, not only whether a technical implementation is complete. At Whole Enterprise™, we recognize the identity, confidence, and organizational realities that are affected by change.
Repeatable Transformation™ requires leaders to make consequential decisions, confront structural and behavioral barriers, and move through uncertainty without pretending certainty exists. At Whole Enterprise™, we name difficult choices and challenge habits while supporting constructive action.
Capability is not authority. We use judgment to help leaders discern what machines can do, what they should do, and which consequential decisions must remain under meaningful human accountability. At Whole Enterprise™, judgment helps us explain reasoning, trade-offs, and uncertainty, and makes evidence distinguishable from interpretation.
The Meaning of Whole
A Whole Enterprise is an organization poised to realize its full untapped potential. Its executive team aligns on a shared strategic direction and builds the organizational capability to successfully transform as often as circumstances require. Like an individual's journey to self-actualization, organizational wholeness is an ongoing state of alignment and development. It is not a claim that a company is finished changing.
